Sunday Post #255: Just Animal Crossing and Supernatural

What I've been doing:

Lots of Animal Crossing and not much of anything else.

Today at the store they had this super cute nail art set! I bought TWO! Lol.

My anxiety is pretty much gone now, thank god, but I still can't find the motivation to read/blog. So I've been playing that and watching a lot of stuff on TV and just taking it easy cause my mental health has just been yikes. This past week we also found out that my grandmother isn't doing well so we're keeping tabs on that.

I hate this year. Can it just go away? 😩

On another more fun note, I'm on level 5 of learning kanji!



This screenshot was from this morning. As you can see I've been slacking off on this too. Ooops. Lol. I caught up on my reviews and tonight at work, when I have time, I'm gonna go through those new lessons I have waiting for me.

What I've been watching:

So I've been wanting to watch Hobbs and Shaw for a while now, but I was super behind on The Fast and the Furious series, soooo I watched the entire thing this week. Lol. I had only ever seen the first three movies, which on this rewatch were... ooof. So much cringe 😬 The middle movies were meh and the only movies I actually really enjoyed was the last one, number 8, whose name I've already forgotten 😂 I really loved The Rock and Jason Statham in it! Also, my other favorite character in the movies was Han... I love him! Anyway, Hobbs and Shaw was pretty good. I wasn't wowed by it. Sometimes the quips went on for too long and they sometimes felt forced. I think this series is just not for me 🤷‍♀️ I think I'm gonna stick to my horror and my superheroes 😂 (and my dumb SyFy movies which I watched some of this week... so much dumb fun! Around this time of year I always get in the mood for these movies, especially if they have sharks!)



As far as Supernatural goes, I finished season 7 AND season 8. I actually forgot that I kind of don't like the first half of season 8 because I just hate this Amelia character and Benny I did not like either. But the 2nd half of season 8 with the demon tablet and the trials was good! I watched Supernatural all day today while I played Animal Crossing... it was a good time. Lol. Anyway, I'm a couple of episodes into season 9 which deals with the fallen angels AND Abaddon!



Nail art of the week:

I did some nail art but I think I'm gonna share it later on in the week. BUT while I was doing my nails this weekend THIS freaking happened:



😱 I've been doing my own nails for years and this sort of mess has never happened before. Sure I've gotten droplets of nail polish here and there, and the gods know I've spilled a handful of bottles of acetone, but to have a full bottle of nail polish spill on me like that? Never! Of course, 2020 HAD to be the year for this to happen 🙄😂 Luckily I don't have carpet, so I was able to clean it up with some acetone and a bit of elbow grease. And I cleaned it up all without ruining my freshly painted nails. Lol. Anyway, I've learned my lesson: don't do your nails on your bed because open nail polish bottles might fly off and make a goddamn mess 😂
