Synopsis: This guy’s got killer looks...

Lauren and Crystal think Scott has it all. He’s handsome. He’s the new star of Shadyside High’s football team. And he’s moved in right next door! Both girls will do anything. Say anything. Try anything to get the chance to go out with him. That’s all either of them want.

But that’s all Scott’s last girlfriend wanted, too—and now she’s dead.

My rating: ★★★☆☆

This book was messed up. SCOTT was messed up! He’s such a shady character, I don’t know how these girls ever fell for him.

One of my favorite things about this book was that we were inside Scott’s head through a lot of it, and in first person, no less! It was so interesting! And horrifying! We start off the book with finding out what happened to Scott’s last girlfriend, who is dead.

I didn’t hate this book though! I thought it was insane and the creepy Scott character was well written. The fact that the girls were “hot for his bod” is beyond me... and yes that phrase was used in the book and it made me cringe 😂 Another thing that made me cringe was the way the girls were acting around Scott. It was just 😬 Trust me, you DON'T want his attention. Lol. And like I said, it was very interesting being inside this guy's head. It was different.

The Fear Street connection: Crystal lives on Fear Street. Sucks to be you. Lol. And the new guy moved there too.

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a link to your review or comment below! 😊

    1. Yes! We don't often get books where the main character is a total creep, so I enjoyed that aspect of the book. Every once in a while I like reading a book where the main character is unlikable.
