Today we're looking at my most-read authors of the year, and I was a little surprised at who showed up because there are NO repeats from last year! I usually always have a repeat or two, but not in 2024! (Also I didn't do most read series this year because that typically alwyas correlates with my most read authors, sooo. Lol.)
Two days ago I talked about my most-read authors EVER, and today I'm talking about the authors I own the most books from! Just like that previous post, I've been doing this post every three years... that's just how it ended up working out. Lol. And I was looking back at those previous posts wondering how I came up with these numbers because when I sat to do this post, it was daunting 😰 Unlike in my most-read authors post where there's a handy tool that adds up the numbers for me, for this one I actually had to do it myself! I looked through my Kindle and through my physical books and I added up the numbers and came up with the following. It honestly didn't take as long as I thought it would, but it was still a bit of work. Lol.
And for comparison purposes, here are the authors that made it onto my list 3 years ago:
5. Marissa Meyer & Rachel Vincent (13 books each)
4. Janette Rallison (16 books) + C.J. Hill (6 books) = 22 total books
3. Cassandra Clare (25 books)
2. Jennifer Estep & Rick Riordan (37 books each)
1. R.L. Stine (122 books)
It's time to look at my most-read authors of all time! I did this post every three years. Why? Idk, it just worked out that way. Lol. I first did this in 2015 then again in 2018, and the last time I did it was in 2021! As always, I include both full-length novels and novellas, just because it's easier that way. And ever since Goodreads got rid of the handy Most Read Authors tool (Grr, still mad about that one lol), I've been using this website to calculate these numbers! It's SO handy! Thank you to whoever created it ðŸ˜
For comparison purposes, here are the authors that made it onto my list 3 years ago:
5. J.L. Bryan & Cassandra Clare (16 books each)
4. Rick Riordan (18 books)
3. Tite Kubo (21 books)
2. Jennifer Estep (57 books)
1. R.L. Stine (98 books)
Today we're looking at my most-read authors and series of the year! Honestly, no one is going to be surprised by who shows up 😂
Today I wanted to share my most read authors and series of 2022 because, I'm gonna be honest, once I find something I like I just read that over and over 😅 What can I say, I like what I like 😉
Today I wanted to share my most read authors and series of 2021 because, I'm gonna be honest, once I find something I like I just read that over and over 😅 What can I say, I like what I like 😉
Today I wanted to share my most read authors and series of 2019 because, I'm gonna be honest, once I find something I like I just read that over and over 😅 What can I say, I like what I like 😉
I wanted to take a look at my most read authors of 2018, and I gotta say, none of these surprised me. Lol.
The last time I checked out who my most read authors were was back in February of 2015 in this post. And you can do this too thanks to a cool tool from Goodreads!
Anyway, now 3 years later I have decided to see how that list has changed. But just for reference, here are the authors that appeared on that previous 2015 list:
I don't know if you've been keeping track or not, but I've been posting discussions every other week, with bookish nail art posts going up in between. This week was nail art week, but since I actually didn't make any designs for this week, I thought I'd do another discussion post instead :) Last week I talked about the Top Authors I Own the Most Books From, so going along with that theme, I decided to check who my most read authors were! And thanks to Goodreads handy-dandy little tool, that was made very easy for me to find out! :)
