Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week!
You know, just trying to get out of this awful reading/blogging slump.
What I've been watching:
I've watched a couple of movies this past month... I actually watched a lot of crap TV during my slump. Lol. But I also watched a lot of good things!
These were both meh. But last week I went to go see the new Jurassic World movie and it was a lot of fun! A lot of people didn't like it, but I really did!
I'm also hoping to go watch Deadpool 2 and The Incredibles 2 in the next couple of weeks!
What I've been listening to:
I started listening to a new podcast and I really love it! The girls are really funny! They talk about YA books, lots of Christopher Pike and just YA pulp... just stuff I love. Lol
New Panic! at the Disco album! Yay! I'm still trying to decide whether I like it or not though...
Nail art of the week:
I did this nail art a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! It only took me 5-6 hours! 😅

Thank you so much to Disney Book Group for Hocus Pocus! I am absolutely excited to read this! The movie is one of my favorite Halloween films EVER!
Thanks to Harper Voyager for Kill the Queen! I love everything Jennifer Estep writes, so I'm excited to see what she did with this fantasy novel.
Thanks to Dutton for The Last Time I Lied! Final Girls was amazing and I am super excited to read another book by Riley Sager!
And thanks to M.A. George to Shift! It sounds awesome! Can't wait to get started on it!
And lastly, thanks to HMH Books for Young Readers! This lovely box of goodies plus an ARC randomly showed up at my door, and I could not be more grateful!
I hope you work through your slump. You sure do have some awesome reads waiting for you!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Thank you! I am getting much better! But it was just the worst!
DeleteI think summer is setting in and creating a slump for a lot of readers. I hope you start to get your mojo back. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I've realized that I always get into these reading slumps at around the same time every year! How weird is that?
DeleteThanks Jennifer, I hope so too. Lol.
