I'm starting to plan out my posts for the end of the year and I was going through what I posted last year when I noticed I did two separate TBRs then. I did a TBR of series I wanted to finish before the year was over, and then just books I wanted to read before the end of the year. Anyway, I didn't end up reading any of them because my mood basically dictates my reading life 😆 But I wanted to see if I ended up reading any of them in 2023, and I did!
This first set of books are the last books in series I wanted to finish.
This year I ended up reading two series finales off this list, and I'm currently in the middle of another one! And for Polaris, I ended up just DNFing that series. I never even started Polaris, but I re-read Avalon at the beginning of the year but I didn't love it as much as I did the first time and I just don't think I'm invested enough to continue the series, so I'm just dropping it.
And for these sets of books, I actually did really well! AND I think I did end up reading Wrong Place Wrong Time at the end of 2022. But the rest I read this year.
That's so cool that you read some of the books on your 2022 TBR list this year. With so many good books constantly coming out, it can be hard to do.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is! I'm constantly distracted by shiny new books lol
DeleteHonestly this is VERY impressive! You know how many books I wanted to read in 2022 and read in 2023? Maybe one? Or maybe none, but one is me being optimistic heh. So I am pretty impressed! And honestly crossing a whole series off the list must be pretty satisfying!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I tend to roll over a lot of book I wanted to read to the next year. I usually get around to a few of them, all intermixed with new releases of course.
DeleteI read a lot of manga and graphic novels with some books in the mix.
ReplyDeleteMy Year in Books
I actually read quite a few graphic novels this year, which I don't normally do, so it was nice!
