I am officially caught up on Spy x Family 😠It's been so much fun and this volume ends in a little of a cliffhanger, so I cannot wait till volume 13 is released!
And The Sword of Kaigen was the last book I read in 2024 and it was GOOD! It's a high fantasy and it was just so well done! I really enjoyed the world-building and the characters. It had some really good action too.
And then the first book I read in 2025 was Write Your Own Cake which is a very short, 20-page nonfiction about writing series by one of my favorite authors. There was a lot of good information there that writers could gain something from. But as a reader, the thing I enjoyed the most was getting insight into how my favorite author writes amazing series after amazing series 😆

I haven't started anything new yet...
But I will definitely be starting this one today! I think I'm gonna read all, if not most, of the ARCs I got recently. I'm very excited about this one though!

Write Your Own Cake sounds really interesting. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good one!
DeleteIf I was writing a series, or even writing anymore, I'd be all over that Writing Your Own Cake book!
