I have given this author a second chance and I have decided that her books are just not for me. I didn't DNF this one, but there is just something about the writing I find very boring. The story was intriguing enough that I kept reading, and I enjoyed some aspects of the book, but it was just okay overall.
This novella on the other hand is very fun! The protagonist is sassy and the banter is a lot of fun! I'm really enjoying it!
Next, I think I'm going to finally read this one. A little high fantasy and then I'll go back to more sci-fi. Lol.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I've been in a reading-blogging slump the last week and yeah, you probably noticed my lack of interaction 😂 I was so busy and we had several family/friend gatherings and I was too exhausted. Not only that but I also DNF-ed 2 books which totally killed my reading mood.
Right now I'm in the middle of A Curse So Dark And Lonely which I picked up because it's a retelling + written by my fave author so if that doesn't pull me out of the slump I don't know what will
