My Year in Books: 2024
Happy New Year everyone! 🥳 I hope you guys had a great reading year in 2024! Personally, I read 95 books which is pretty great. Though I do admit that a bunch of those books were manga and novellas 😂 But hey, my goal was 52 and I surpassed that by a lot, so I'll take it! Lol.
My shortest book was a Better Than the Movies novella 😍 And my longest book was actually the last book I read in 2024, a standalone high fantasy!
This seems to always be my average. Lol.
I knew Madeline Miller was popular, but that is wild! But unsurprising because her books are SO good! Last year my least popular book was also a Space Janitor book 😭 Which is why I will not shut up about this series because I want more people to read it 😆
Last year my average was 4.2... I continue to be easily entertained 😆
This makes me so happy 😭 Last year a Space Janitor book was also my highest rated! No a lot of people may read these books, but the ones who do love this series as much as me! 🥰
Last year I found myyearinbooks.com and I really liked it so I thought I'd visit it again this year!
This is what the site had to say about my reading this year:
I feel like the number of pages varies from place to place. I just took a peek at my reading stats that I keep track on a spreadsheet and the page count I got was 28,974 😂
Lots of variety in genres!
And September was my most read month... somehow. I still don't know how I managed that... No, I do: manga and novellas 😂
This didn't list the 3 books I read that were published in 1996 🤷♀️😂 (But *I* will definitely touch on that tomorrow lol)
I read 12 volumes of Spy x Family and I had the best time!
This is so funny! It definitely describes my reading year. Lol. Creepy camps and chaos? Yep, sounds like me 😂
So that's a little overview of my reading year. I'm excited because tomorrow we're going to dive into this a little more in-depth with my reading stats! That is one of my favorite posts to do every year! 😆
Let me know what your reading year looked like in 2024 and whether you completed your Goodreads challenge! And here's to a great reading year in 2025! 🍾
