Happy New Year everyone! I hope your year is starting off okay. I have to go back to work tomorrow after two weeks off and I'm honestly not ready ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
Anyway, here are some yearly wrap-up for some apps I use...
Literally no one is surprised that Unlike Pluto is my most listened to artist 😂 Did I tell you guys that when I went to Idaho in October, I listened to nothing but Mr. Pluto on the 3+ hour car ride there and back? 😆 I love him. Lol.
And I started using Duolingo again! I don't really do many lessons, but at least I'm doing something. Lol. Learning Japanese has been something I've enjoyed, but I've been slacking lately and I really want to get back into it.
This week I didn't do too much actual gameplay in the Sims 4 because I was busy building this house:
Well, houses. There's three townhouses. And the back area turned out so cute with all the lights!
This build is for my legacy save where one of the goals for my current generation is to run a bakery. So in the back, I added this selling table where they can sell food while they earn money to buy the bakery.
This is the inside of that first house on the left.
And this is the upstairs lofted area that I divided with a bunch of bookcases.
And this is the middle house and it's honestly my favorite! I turned out so cute and cozy!

And this is the third house on the right. This one has a darker tone but I also liked it!
Next, like I said, I'm going to work on the bakery they're going to be running. I'm very excited! I don't build a lot of retail or community lots, but I have a bunch of inspiration pictures on Pinterest so I'm really looking forward to building it! However, if these three townhomes took me three days, I don't even know how long this bakery is going to take me 😅 I actually started it yesterday and so far it's looking good. However, I've had a hard time picking out a wallpaper for the place. You see the flower wallpaper I used in two of the townhouses? Yeah, I used it in the bakery too 😠I love that wallpaper but I really need to use something else. Lol.
Aside from that, I went back to my Super Sim save file which I haven't played in a while because the bugs are too much! I don't know what's wrong with that save but my Sims just freeze and don't do anything for Sims-minutes at a time! It makes me crazy! And also sad because I loved that save file 😠Something I've been thinking about doing is just scrapping that file and starting a new one. And I could just move my Sims from one save file to another and just continue on from there, but I actually decided that I want to kill off my Super Sim and have her be reborn with the new mechanic from the Life & Death pack! That way she will be a TRUE Super Sim and I can have her complete all the infant/childhood/teen aspirations and skills! So she will still be the same Sim, but we're basically starting from her being a baby. When I first started this challenge I made her as a Young Adult and just went from there. BUT I worked on her bucket list and she is now able to be reborn when she dies!
Except I didn't know how to kill her (and her husband!) off! So I'm just gonna make them have out-of-body experiences in this lake until the lake takes them for good 😂 (It's a pretty lake though. Lol.)

A couple of sci-fi books!
I used to love building houses in the Sims, although when I was playing I could never figure out how to make the outside look nice since I concentrated on having the insides work the way I wanted, lol. Tomorrow is supposed to be back to school for the students even though teachers were back on Friday. Of course we're having a major winter storm, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for a snow day tomorrow! lol. Hope you have a good week back to school!
