Synopsis: Come on, Bayview, you know you've missed this.

A ton of copycat gossip apps have popped up since Simon died, but in the year since the Bayview four were cleared of his shocking death, no one's been able to fill the gossip void quite like he could. The problem is no one has the facts.

Until now.

This time it's not an app, though—it's a game.

Truth or Dare.

Phoebe's the first target. If you choose not to play, it's a truth. And hers is dark.

Then comes Maeve and she should know better—always choose the dare.

But by the time Knox is about to be tagged, things have gotten dangerous. The dares have become deadly, and if Maeve learned anything from Bronwyn last year, it's that they can't count on the police for help. Or protection.

Simon's gone, but someone's determined to keep his legacy at Bayview High alive. And this time, there's a whole new set of rules.

My rating: ★★★★★

This book takes place about a year after the first book and follows different characters, but it was just as good as One of Us is Lying!

While this book does follow a different set of characters, we still got to see the main characters from the first book make an apperance here and there in this book, which I appreciated. It was nice to catch up with them and see what they've been up to since the last book. And it was also interesting to see how they've changed due to what they went through in the previous book. One thing I really liked was that despite the ups and downs of Bronwyn and Nate's relationship, Nate and Bronwyn's little sister Maeve forged a sibling-like relationship and it was honestly the cutest thing!

Speaking of Maeve, she is one of our main characters in this book, which I was happy to see beause I loved her in One of Us is Lying! Another familiar face in this book was Luis who was one of Cooper’s friends, and the only good one of the bunch. But we also had a couple of newer characters that we got to follow in this book. And like in the last book, I really liked the characters in this one and just how imperfect they were. Once again, the characters are stuck in the middle of another murder. But this time, someone is playing a deadly game of Truth or Dare with them.

Like I said, I loved this book! I loved the character and their interactions—Luis and Maeve were SO cute together! So were Phoebe and Knox. And then Knox and his dad had a really heartfelt moment there at the end and I just love little moments like this, especially after everything the characters want through. And the mystery omg I was glued to the pages right from the start! It was SO good! That plot twist at the end... I did not see it coming! It was wild and left me reeling! I am really looking forward to reading the last book in the trilogy because so far this series has been such a great read! Hightly recommend!
