It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #396: At Least I Have Spy x Family

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date and Unleashing Reads.

What I read:

I did not love Heartless Hunter as much as I was hoping I would. I mean, it wasn't horrible. I liked the world and I really enjoyed the magic system. But I didn't care too much for the characters or their romance. I honestly didn't think they had much chemistry. But I enjoyed everything else about it and I almost wish the book would've focused less on the romance and more on everything else. Though I guess focusing on the romance IS the point of a, you know, romantic fantasy 😂 But when I don't love the romance in a romantic fantasy... well, that's not great 😬

Spy x Family was great though! Volume 9 finished off the cruise mission which was fun, and in volume 10 we got a Loid origin story! It was interesting but also very heartbreaking 😢

I've made some progress on this one! Not a lot, but at least it's something 😅

I have a whole list of books I want to read, but I haven't picked out my next one yet 😅
